Lalomia and Paul Melone opened La Rocca
August 2007 in the Historical Town of Georgetown, SC.
There was much
skepticism and many
doubts about the success of any new restaurant,
let alone an
Italian Restaurant, in
this "Low Country" location. The only advertising, other
than our
menus, and now "Our Very Own Web Site" is word of mouth, by
our customers.
We like to think that it is truly the food , service and
unique atmosphere that
does all the talking for La Rocca.
Many of the recipes
derive
from the small town of "Marineo, Palermo Provincio with a
touch from owner Master Chef Lalomia.
The menu can only
be
described as
"just
exceptional" by our many new honored friends of La Rocca.
La Rocca
features fresh pastas, crusty Italian bread, homemade meatballs, the
finest Italian sausage,
and extraordinary "La Rocca sauce".
La Rocca uses
fresh Vegetables, herbs, garlic,... the finest imported Italian Pecorino,
Parmigiano
and Mozzarella cheeses,
ripe Roma
tomatoes and quality care when it comes to
delicately preparing
and serving your selection.
All of our authentic
Italian cuisine, from pasta to seafood is prepared in the "Traditions of
Italy", and served with
a
"Carolina Low Country
Flair"!
